Ultra-large format cutting
Modular bed lengths support long sheets and plate, helping reduce repositioning and secondary handling on large components.
Bodor H Series | Ultra-large format sheet laser
A modular large-format fibre laser platform for long sheets, heavy plate and high-value fabrications. World Machinery supports UK manufacturers with application review, specification, installation, operator training and long-term service.
iBed length, crossbeam width, laser power, bevel capability, software, extraction and safety equipment depend on the selected configuration. Confirm all details in a current written World Machinery quotation.
Large format | durable | protected
The H Series combines modular bed architecture with an independent worktable, a lightweight rigid crossbeam and configurable safety, extraction and material-handling options. The correct build should be selected around your largest plate, material thickness, part mix, site layout and production targets.
Modular bed lengths support long sheets and plate, helping reduce repositioning and secondary handling on large components.
The aluminium crossbeam uses a reinforced honeycomb structure intended to combine fast response, rigidity and low deformation.
Protective crossbeam and safety arrangements are intended to support stable operation in demanding plate-processing environments.
Modular large-format architecture
Bodor presents the current H platform with modular worktable, waste-handling and dedusting options. The independent worktable is separated from the main bed frame to help limit heat transfer, while modular length choices provide a route to 12m, 16m, 20m and longer production requirements.
Separating the worktable from the bed frame is intended to reduce thermal influence on the main machine structure.
Select a length around stock sizes, component geometry, loading strategy and available factory space.
Waste trolleys, extraction and other supporting equipment can be planned as part of the complete installation.
Built for demanding plate work
The H Series is positioned for heavy, large-format applications where machine stability, operator protection and fume control matter as much as nominal cutting size. World Machinery can review floor loading, service access, extraction routing, power, gases and material flow before a final specification is agreed.
The current manufacturer description highlights a reinforced aluminium beam designed for high structural strength with lower moving mass.
Protective covers and safety light curtains can form part of the configured machine and site risk-control package.
Follow-up extraction concentrates airflow around the active cutting zone to support a cleaner working environment.
Intelligent cutting functions
Availability depends on model, laser power, software and selected options. World Machinery will confirm which functions are included in the exact UK machine specification.
Machine protection
BodorGenius sensors and path logic are designed to detect raised or tilted parts and reduce the risk of cutting-head collisions.
Optional process
Suitable H Series configurations can support A, V, top-Y, X and K bevel cuts, helping reduce later preparation and welding stages.
Thick plate productivity
Rapid piercing coordinates focus and process control with cutting-head movement to reduce non-cutting time on medium and thick plate.
Faster setup
An optical camera identifies material position, origin and angular offset to simplify sheet alignment and focus compensation.
Material utilisation
Upload part geometry and remnant information so the control can help position and nest additional work on usable material.
Process stability
The function compensates for heat-related focal drift, supporting more stable cutting conditions during thick-sheet production.
Assist-gas control
Closed-loop pressure feedback automatically corrects deviation between the programmed and actual assist-gas pressure.
Cleaner production
Partitioned extraction and coordinated airflow concentrate fume removal around the active cutting area.
Structural workflow
The existing World Machinery page describes nesting compatibility with Tekla files to support structural-steel workflows and material planning.
Published H Series families
The images below are retained from the existing World Machinery page and show published example specifications. They are not a substitute for a current quotation. Available bed lengths, powers, working widths and options can change by market and configuration.
A large-format platform for organisations that need long-bed processing with a working width around the 3.2m class.
A wider configuration intended for larger plate formats and fabricators working with broad structural or industrial components.
An ultra-wide, long-bed option for exceptionally large sheet and plate components where fewer material moves can simplify production.
All figures above reproduce examples currently shown on the existing World Machinery H Series page. Exact model availability, power range, accuracy, speed and working area must be confirmed in a current written quotation.
Application-led specification
A large machine only adds value when material flow, extraction, site services and downstream handling are designed around it. World Machinery can review the complete production route from stock entry through cutting, part removal and secondary fabrication.
Define grades, maximum thickness, reflective materials, edge-quality requirements and the balance between thin-sheet speed and thick-plate capability.
Use actual stock sizes and the largest finished components to select working width, modular bed length and loading strategy.
Review pierce count, small features, common-line cutting, remnant use and whether bevel preparation should be completed on the laser.
Plan floor space, foundations, service access, electrical supply, assist gases, compressor capacity, extraction discharge and crane or forklift routes.
From application review to production
Large-format projects benefit from early technical planning. The objective is to confirm the machine, site and production method together before the order is finalised.
Share materials, thicknesses, plate sizes, drawings, output targets and current production constraints.
Select a suitable bed, width, power and option package, then arrange representative cutting trials where appropriate.
Confirm layout, access, foundations, power, gases, extraction, safety and material-handling responsibilities.
Complete installation, operator training, handover and an agreed maintenance and service-support plan.
UK supply and lifetime support
From early application discussions through installation and ongoing maintenance, the World Machinery team can coordinate the commercial and technical elements needed to put a large-format fibre laser into reliable production.
Match machine size and options to the parts, material flow and physical factory constraints.
Coordinate delivery, positioning, commissioning and practical operator instruction for the selected system.
Access UK-based technical support, planned maintenance and assistance with machine condition and uptime.
Discuss available asset-finance structures for qualifying UK businesses, subject to status and lender approval.
H Series buying questions
These answers provide an initial guide. Final performance, configuration, compliance and commercial terms must be confirmed for the exact machine offered.
The H Series is designed for large and ultra-large sheet or plate components, including applications where long bed lengths, wide working areas and thick-plate process capability are important. Suitability depends on material, thickness, geometry, laser power and the required edge quality.
Bodor describes a modular platform beginning at 12 metres and extending in modular increments for longer production requirements. Exact combinations depend on the current model range, working width, site and selected equipment package.
The names broadly indicate different working-width families. The existing World Machinery examples show approximately 3.2m, 4.2m and 5.15m working widths, but bed length, power and options must be confirmed for the machine currently available in the UK.
Optional configurations can support A, V, top-Y, X and K bevel profiles. The existing World Machinery page describes bevel angles up to plus or minus 45 degrees. Availability, material limits and achievable tolerances depend on the selected head, software, plate and process.
The existing World Machinery page describes nesting-software compatibility with Tekla files. Confirm the required file workflow, licence, software version and any optional modules before ordering.
The H Series uses divided extraction zones and follow-up airflow around the active cutting area. The complete extraction system still needs to be sized for the machine, power, material, duty cycle and local installation requirements.
World Machinery can support application review, delivery coordination, installation, commissioning, operator training and ongoing service for the agreed UK project scope.
Provide material grades, minimum and maximum thickness, largest plate size, typical part geometry, bevel requirements, annual volume, desired cycle time, factory layout, power and gas availability, extraction requirements and purchase timescale.
