Simultaneous production stages
Bodor describes cutting, loading and unloading as coordinated operations, helping reduce waiting time between repeated tube batches.
Bodor M Series · Flagship four-chuck tube laser
A flagship tube-laser platform designed around four-chuck processing, simultaneous production stages and high material utilisation. World Machinery supports UK manufacturers with application review, demonstrations, installation, operator training and long-term service.
iTube range, laser power, stock length, loading, unloading, bevel cutting and weld-seam identification depend on the selected M2, M3 or M5 configuration. Confirm all details in a current written World Machinery quotation.
Four-chuck control · continuous flow · low waste
The M Series combines intelligent four-chuck processing with automatic handling and application-specific options. The correct machine should be selected from the actual tube shapes, dimensions, wall thicknesses, stock lengths, finished components and production targets.
Bodor describes cutting, loading and unloading as coordinated operations, helping reduce waiting time between repeated tube batches.
The square-round chuck structure is intended to widen the usable tube range, including large round and square profiles in suitable configurations.
The final workpiece can remain supported while the material moves forwards or backwards, helping minimise leftover tube under suitable nesting conditions.
A new era of four-chuck processing
Bodor positions the four-chuck layout as the foundation of M Series productivity. Chucks can pair intelligently for different working conditions, while the material can be advanced or retracted for the final cut. Real benefit depends on tube dimensions, nest strategy, loading, unloading and the complete machine configuration.
Asterisked values are manufacturer-published references, not guaranteed cycle-time or remnant results for every tube and part.
Features and optional enhancements
The six sections below use the existing images already published on the current World Machinery M Series page. Every option and performance claim must be confirmed for the quoted machine.
Laser-head protection
When square or rectangular tube rotates, the control system calculates the corner path and plans avoidance to reduce the risk of the laser head contacting the tube edge.
Automatic part handling
The servo-controlled plate adapts its movement during unloading and can separate finished workpieces from remnants, reducing repeated manual sorting and unnecessary movement.
Four-chuck production
The dust-resistant airtight pneumatic chuck is designed for efficient clamping with reduced contamination and maintenance around the four-chuck mechanism.
Material utilisation
The fourth chuck allows the tube to be moved forwards or backwards for the final component, helping minimise leftover material when the nest and configuration allow.
Optional weld preparation
The optional bevel system can prepare angled edges during laser cutting, reducing separate grinding or machining for suitable welding and assembly applications.
Optional camera system
A high-sensitivity camera and identification workflow can locate internal or external weld seams so the cutting programme can avoid them where required.
M2 · M3 · M5 configuration pathways
The current Bodor range presents M2, M3 and M5. Exact diameters, stock lengths, laser power, automatic devices and option compatibility can vary, so World Machinery should confirm the UK configuration in writing.
M2A four-chuck route for manufacturers prioritising accurate automated tube processing, reduced tail waste and a balanced production footprint.
M3A configuration route for wider tube and profile requirements, heavier production and intelligent chuck-mode switching across different work scenarios.
M5Bodor currently presents M5 as the flagship four-chuck option for heavy-duty production, including a manufacturer reference to tube diameters up to 530mm.
These cards organise the buying discussion and do not replace a current written technical specification. M5 diameter information is a current manufacturer reference.

M Series buying questions
Final answers depend on the M2, M3 or M5 configuration, tube range, laser power, loading, software and options. World Machinery can prepare a current written configuration.
The M Series is a flagship four-chuck tube-laser platform intended for automated, high-precision and low-tail-waste processing. It is suited to manufacturers that need stable support through the final tube section and a choice of loading, unloading and value-added options.
Four chucks can pair in different modes to support the tube across varied working conditions. The material can also move forwards or backwards near the final cut, helping maintain support and reduce leftover tube when the nest and configuration allow.
Bodor describes the M Series as coordinating cutting with a new loading cycle or the completion of unloading. The actual overlap depends on the selected automatic devices, stock and factory layout.
No universal zero-waste result can be guaranteed. Bodor presents zero excess material as a four-chuck objective. Practical tail length depends on tube size, wall thickness, part geometry, chuck clearances, nesting and the final machine setup.
For square and rectangular profiles, the control calculates the corner rotation path and plans an avoidance route to reduce the risk of the tube edge contacting the laser head.
They are presented as optional. Bevel performance depends on the quoted head, angles, material and tube range. Weld-seam identification requires the camera and software package and should be validated using representative tubes.
They are different M Series configuration pathways. Current diameter, length, power, handling and automation details can change. Bodor currently presents M5 as the flagship heavy-duty option and references tube diameters up to 530mm. World Machinery should confirm the exact UK build.
World Machinery provides application advice, demonstrations, installation, commissioning, operator training and ongoing service support. The commercial and technical scope is defined in the written quotation.
